Asus has kicked off its Computex Taipei announcements with the Asus Zenfone 3 series, comprising a trio of phones. The regular Zenfone 3 is positioned as a mainstream phone and will be the cheapest of them all; the Zenfone 3 Deluxe goes for high-end performance and build quality; and the Zenfone 3 Ultra is centered around entertainment with a huge display. Let’s take a brief look into the 3 devices separately :

Asus Zenfone 3

Asus Zenfone 3 is made from two 2.5D panels of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on the front and back with a metal frame. It’s available in gold, blue, black, and white.


The Zenfone 3 has a 5.5″ Super IPS+ LCD display, a Snapdragon 625 SoC coupled with (Up-to) 4GB RAM, a 16MP rear camera with ASUS TriTech autofocus, an 8MP selfie snapper, a 3000 mAh battery, a fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C, and up to 64GB of storage.

Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe

Asus Zendone 3 Deluxe is made up of Full aluminum alloy unibody with “Invisible antenna” lines, and an ultra-thin 4.2mm edge.


The Zenfone 3 Deluxe sports a 5.7″ 1080p AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 820 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM, a 23MP rear camera with ASUS TriTech Auto-focus, an 8MP selfie snapper, a 3000 mAh battery, a fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C, and a whopping (up-to) 256GB UFS2.0 internal storage.

Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra

Zenfone 3 Ultra is the biggest of them and is built with full metal with no visible antenna lines.


The Zenfone 3 Ultra features a huge 6.8″ 1080p display, a Snapdragon 652 SoC coupled with upto 4GB RAM, a 4600 mAh battery, USB Type-C, QuickCharge 3.0 support, a 23MP rear camera along with 8MP front snapper, and a Fingerprint Sensor at front.
