Taiwanese manufacturer Asus launched its latest smartphone in the ZenFone series called as ZenFone Max.
The phone features a 5.5″ IPS LCD display with the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 4 on top. In terms of camera, the handset features a 13MP rear unit and a 5MP front shooter. There is also a laser autofocus setup at the back. At its heart is a 64-bit Quad-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC with Adreno 306 and 2 GB RAM. The USP of the phone is its 5000 mAh battery that also doubles as a power bank, which means one could use the phone to charge other devices as well. The phone runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with Asus ZenUI. This dual SIM smartphone supports SIM cards with 4G capability.
Asus ZenFone Max is now available for pre-order in India. Online retailers including Amazon and Flipkart currently have the device listed for INR 9,999 with a release date of January 15 and January 14, respectively.
