Well we are all familiar with the name Mizuu which is a media management app.Earlier this week mizuu was kicked out of google without given any prior notice. After that Google clarifies that it only wanted to make sure that the app was properly licensed to display movies data.
Here’s whats google said to Mizuu..
As noted in your previous response, your application is pulling content from themoviedb.org.It appears that in order for your app to pull content from themoviedb.org you would need to hold a commercial license.TMDb: https://www.themoviedb.org/documentation/api/terms-of-usePlease provide a commercial license or documentation from TMDB that allows you to publish their content.”
Anyway the developer confirmed that mizuu is back on playstore with a commercial license after solving all issues with google.
Here what’s Mizuu has to say about it..
Some of you probably already know this, but I received an e-mail from Google Play four days ago, telling me that Mizuu had been removed from Google Play due to a “violation of the intellectual property and impersonation or deceptive behavior provisions of the Content Policy.”
There’s been quite a bit of talk about it on Google+ and Reddit since then, and just a few hours ago I received word that it has been reinstated. I’ve republished the application and it is now online again. For anyone wondering, it seems like the issue wasn’t related to the app icon nor the screenshots. I was asked to prove to Google that I was authorized to use the data fromwww.themoviedb.org.I haven’t posted anything about it here, as I wanted to wait until I received a final decision.Anyway, just wanted to let you guys know what happened and how it turned out.
