Samsung has officially launched the successors of selfie centric smartphones duo, Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 in India. The J5 (2016) carries a price tag of INR 13,990 while the J7 (2016) will set you back INR 15,990. The phones will be available exclusively through Flipkart from May 10 onwards. Airtel subscribers will get double data for up to six months.
J5 sports a 5.2″ 720p AMOLED display, comes with SnapDragon 410 SoC and features 2 GB RAM. A 3100mAh battery provides juice to the smartphone.
J7 comes with a 5.5″ 720p AMOLED display, boasts a 64-bit octa-core Exynos 7870 SoC and features 2 GB RAM. The battery stands at 3300mAh.
Both the smartphones come with a 13MP rear shooter with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash, and a 5MP selfie shooter with LED flash.
The duo run on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 out of the box and feature diamond-cut metal frame and metal finish plastic on the back, and will be available in black, gold, and rose gold color options. It is worth noting that both the phones have Dual-SIM support and Samsung’s new S-Bike mode.
