Sony Mobile Communications (“Sony Mobile”) today revealed two new smartphones with the introduction of Xperia C5 Ultra and Xperia M5.

Sony Xperia C5 Ultra

The C5 Ultra comes with a near bezelless 6″ Full-HD IPS display with Mobile BRAVIA® Engine 2. A one-handed operation mode is also available to help you easily use the device with options for both right-handed and left-handed users.
Xperia C5 Ultra incorporates twin 13MP front and rear camera, both accompanied with LED flash. Both cameras include Sony’s Exmor RS™ sensor, HDR for picture and video, and a preset Auto scene recognition mode that analyses and adjusts settings automatically.

The dimensions of the device are 164.2 x 79.6 x 8.2 mm and it weights 187 grams. A 2930 mah battery provides juice to the smartphone.

A 64-bit Octa-core 1.7 GHz MediaTek MTK6752 SoC powers the smartphone. The graphics department is handled by 700 mHz ARM Mali760 MP2. There’s 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory with the option to expand up to 200GB through Micro-SD card.

With an aluminium frame and three colour variations, including black, white and a glossy soft mint, the C5 Ultra will hit markets in August this year, in Single SIM and Dual SIM variants.

Sony Xperia M5

The M5 sports a 5″ Full-HD Display IPS display with Mobile BRAVIA® Engine 2. The device is Waterproof and dust tight (IP65 and IP68).

The Camera department is handled by a 21.5MP rear camera (F/2.2) with 5x Clear Image Zoom. There’s 13MP front snapper for selfies. The cameras are capable of recording 4K and Full-HD videos respectively.

The dimensions of the device are 145 x 72 x 7.6 mm and it weights 142.5 grams. There’s a 2600 mAh battery which provides juice to the smartphone.

On the inside, there’s a 64-bit MediaTek Helio X10 Octa-core processor clocked at 2.0 gHz. IMG Rogue G6200 handles the graphics department. There’s a 3GB of RAM and 16GB on board storage which can be expanded up to 200GB.

Xperia M5 features Sony’s OmniBalance design in a glass finish on both sides and steel on the corners. The M5 will available in August this year in Single SIM and Dual SIM variants, in black, white and gold color options.
