Meet the all new – Yu Yuphoria, a mid-range phone with metal frame, designed in Bangalore and Beijing. The back is made up of Soft Touch plastic. The phone is 8.25mm thick and weighs 143g. The device comes with 5″ 720p IPS display. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
The Yuphoria runs on 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm SnapDragon 410 processor. The graphic department is handled by Adreno 306. The phone comes with 2GB of RAM. The phone features a Wolfson audio chip, which promises great audio quality (know for providing audio chips to Samsung Galaxy S flagships).
The rear camera is a 8MP unit with autofocus and HDR mode, accompanied by LED flash. On the front is a 5MP front-facing camera.
The internal storage of the device is 16GB which is expandable via microSD card slot. 2230mAh battery provides juice to the smartphone along with QuickCharge 1.0 support.
The Yuphoria comes with Cyanogen OS 12, based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. The smartphone comes in Buffed Steel and Champagne Gold color options
Yuphoria will be available with Dual SIM and 4G connectivity. The Yu Yuphoria will cost INR 7,000 and available only through Amazon India. Registrations start today at 5PM local time, the phone will go on sale on May 28.
